AGING: Bush vines of 70 to 100 years old all around Poboleda. 14 months in new and second year French oak barrels.

VIEW: Intense cherry colour, violet edge.

BOUQUET: Very fine, clean blend of raspberry and plum, light notes of potpourri, white pepper, dried orange peel, minor tobacco, and a bit of sweet licorice.

MOUTH: Very fresh and juicy on the palate, fine fruit with even finer tannins, lifted acidity that carries the wine along effortlessly.

FOOD PAIRING: Veal, poultry, lamb, and game meat.
